Are the “managed servers” really managed? I mean I’m a noob, would you install and/or fix anything in my server for me?

Yes they are 100% managed with a Control Panel and you will have to deal with a command line, we take care of everything including Initial Setup, Hardening, Optimization, security, backups, and monitoring.
